Commissioning: every detail matters
A gas detection installation is not complete once the equipment has been installed. Before commissioning, every component must be correctly positioned, connected and fully operational.
This is where our teams come in. During commissioning, they check the entire installation to ensure the system is ready to perform as intended.
Every point is checked
Before the system goes live, our teams review key aspects including:
- Detector placement: are the detectors installed in the planned locations and correctly positioned for the gases they are intended to detect?
- Wiring and connections: every connection is checked to ensure the installation operates correctly.
- Event triggering: different scenarios are tested to verify that events are correctly detected and transmitted.
- Equipment response: system components must respond as expected when an event is triggered.
In gas detection, system performance depends on every stage: equipment selection, installation, configuration and verification.
