The S•Lx control unit is a device that allows the monitoring of gas concentrations of many potentially harmful gases in order to take immediate actions before a danger materializes.
The S•Lx is designed to operate within commercial or industrial buildings, such as laboratories or industrial facilities, requiring the presence of numerous detectors.
Combined with D•CAN, D•420, D•TEX 420, DAX•420 or DAT•420 detectors, the S•Lx alarm control unit can easily monitor gas concentrations for very complex installations.
The backlit touchscreen display allows to visualize the configuration, the gas measurements, a journal of past and current events, and immediately and very clearly warns the user in case of an alarm condition or any system anomaly.
Its integrated RGB LED strip allows to rapidly and in a clear way warn the building occupants of gas alarms or system anomalies.
Its line cabling mode (using CAN bus) is highly economical and allows it to meet all requirements in areas such as car parks and laboratories that call for the presence of a large number of addressable sensors (max 240). It also allows to connect traditional current loop detectors (max 16) in a star shaped cabling topology.
For each detector, up to four gas alarm levels may be configured, including instantaneous, averaged, and time qualified types of alarm conditions.
When alarm thresholds are reached, the S•Lx alarm control unit can act on one or more connected security devices thanks to its 6 to 18 programmable alarm relays, its Modbus TCP interface or optional analog outputs for a direct ventilation system control.
