The OCTOBUS64 has 5 programmable gas alarm relays and 1 fail-safe relay per motherboard. The 64 nodes can accommodate additional detectors, relay cards and analogue input or outpoint points. The backlit display continually shows measured gas concentrations. When used in conjunction with D•CAN sensors, the OCTOBUS64 control unit manages a full range of accessories and controlled devices.

The OCTOBUS64 control unit is compatible with a CAN USB interface allowing connection to a PC for the configuration of the system.
The OCTOBUS64 plastic housing is IP65 (dust and water proof) halogen-free polycarbonate, with glazing, UV-UL 508, self-extinguishing: UL 746C 5V. It is designed to be permanently mounted on a wall surface or on a DIN TS35 rail with a mounting fixture.
The metal housing of the OCTOBUS64 is IP66 (NEMA 1, 12, 4, dust and water proof) cold rolled steel EN 10130+A1, UL 508A. It is designed to be permanently mounted on a wall surface or on a DIN rail using a mounting fixing.
The OCTOBUS64 control unit comes with a three-year warranty on all new installations.
