Charles Dalemans founded DALEMANS with a partner.
The company’s first steps in Belgium were taken in the attic of the family home with the creation of a first gas detection system which was named Alpha. Other models such as the Beta, C, D, E and F followed.The small SME with its five employees, moved into offices within the Mélotte buildings (well-known factory in the region).
Five years later, the company was divided into two separate entities: DALEMANS SA designs, manufactures and sells the products and DALEMANS Service SPRL carries out all maintenance.As it was beginning to outgrow its existing office space, DALEMANS decided to build a new building in Remicourt, Belgium.
DALEMANS expanded its existing market into Flanders.
Jean-François Dalemans, eldest son of Charles, joined the company. At that time the company had 20 employees.
DALEMANS began building a European network.
Charles retired from the company and Jean-François took over from him as Managing Director.
Gabriel Dalemans, Charles’ youngest son, joined the company.
The company went digital, began designing new products and updating existing ones. DALEMANS also strengthened its teams with new collaborators, doubling the number of employees.
Construction of a completely new building that could accommodate all the different departments, from R&D to production, stock, technical teams and the administrative staff. The company remains 100% family owned.
