The U•C2 control unit for Refrigerant Gases monitors concentrations of ammonia dioxide NH₃ (R717) or carbon dioxide CO₂ (R744), of freon, of Rxxx, refrigerant gases from 1000 to 10000 ppm (this list is not exhaustive).
The U•C2 control unit has 2 detection input points and up to 4 alarm thresholds per unit. The U•C2 is fully compatible with the D•420 detector. The U•C2 control unit manages a full range of accessories and controlled devices.
When the programmed alarm thresholds are reached, the U•C2 control unit has the choice of acting on one or more connected security devices, such as:
The U•C2 control unit comes with a password protected service menu. The device housing is IP65 (dust and waterproof) and ABS-PC UL 94 V-0: flame retardant. It is designed to be permanently mounted on a wall surface or on a DIN TS35 rail with a mounting fixing.
The U•C2comes with a three-year warranty on all new installations.
