BIOWANZE, located in the Province of Liège, operates in the biofuel production sector. As a long-standing customer for over fifteen years, DALEMANS has already supplied equipment for eight gas detection systems and has maintained eleven complete installations since 2009.
In 2021, BIOWANZE planned the construction of a new biomass steam boiler and a pellet silo. The company called on the DALEMANS Industry team to provide gas detection solutions for its new buildings.
“We carried out an on-site visit to the construction area,” explains François Spadazzi – Sales Engineer at Dalemans, “but we also worked from the plans to perform a needs analysis and a workflow study for the future production building.” Based on this, the Industry team accurately determined the number of gas detection systems required to ensure the safety of both workers and infrastructure. Depending on the gases to be detected—in this case, methane and carbon dioxide—a comprehensive recommendation was prepared, including the selection of detectors and control panels best suited to the environmental conditions and applicable standards.“Over the coming months, we will supervise the electricians’ work regarding equipment positioning and cable types,” continues François Spadazzi. Once the construction is complete, DALEMANS will perform all the necessary commissioning checks. Afterwards, the team will provide a complete as-built file and a fully customized maintenance plan.
